More Details
The slow process of melting ice and dry dye powder creates shapes and crystallised formations in each piece. Each piece is truly unique.
The pieces are all roughly fat quarter size. The piece can be used as a panel in a quilt, a small whole cloth quilt with stitching or cut up and used in piecing a quilt. They also work well with commercial fabrics.
The blue version of my Paint Chip Tote Bag pattern is made using just one fat quarter of ice dye for the small squares!
The fabric is 100% cotton. Although all fabric is washed 2 to 3 times with Synthrapol, we recommend pre-washing to test for colour fastness.
