Video – Unwrapping eco-dyed silk parcels

Recently I have been eco-dyeing a lot of silk fabric. As with most hand-dyed fabric, you are never really sure what the result will be.

Recently I have been eco-dyeing a lot of silk fabric. As with most hand-dyed fabric, you are never really sure what the result will be. I have made a small video showing the unwrapping process and results. Sorry about the sound quality, I shot this video on my camera outside!

I was delighted with the result, good definition and colour from our Australian native leaves. Many of these silk pieces are now available for sale. They will make excellent art wall hangings.
