Flower Power Quilt Pattern

$AUD 11.99

The challenges of using large print fabrics in your quilts may be an opportunity to create something truly memorable with this pattern.

When I first saw Stephanie Brandenburg’s Daydreams III Flower Bomb fabric, I knew I wanted to do something spectacular. While they are beautiful, what can you do that is more satisfying than simply putting a border around the print?

Description

In this design I’ve used Multi Tulip Explosion/Sunflower Grenade and Multi-Stargazer Fireworks/Iris Paintball as my flower panels from the Daydreams III Flower Bomb range.

The quilt is designed in four distinct units. If you want a smaller quilt, you can work with just one unit. While this quilt is not terribly difficult to make, you need to measure as you go. Pieces are put together like a puzzle.

This design can be applied to any large scale print. My alternate colorway uses a big retro flower fabric in bright 1960’s colors.

Skill Level: New to Intermediate, rotary cutting, basic sewing skills

Finished Size: 90 x 94 inches
