I had a lot of fun in September and October, collaborating with my friends Jann and Fran on our Beyond The Stitch textile art exhibition. We showcased our works at The Old Auction House in Kyneton, a great place for art lovers. We had a good response, the gallery organiser said that many people from the local area and Melbourne came to see our exhibition.
The exhibition featured textile art pieces that reflected the diverse styles and techniques of three artists: Fran Batrouney, Leslie Edwards and Jann Haggart. Each had a unique approach to their craft, ranging from traditional to contemporary, and from abstract to realistic.
