Colour & Form is a textile art exhibition by Leslie Edwards
“Colour & Form textile art is a creative practice combining several different dyeing techniques and upcycled materials to make one-of-a-kind artworks. The fabrics are then cut, sewn, quilted or embroidered to create different shapes and patterns. The result is a stunning display of colour and form that celebrates nature’s beauty and sustainability value.“
The exhibition will feature over 60 works on display covering several textile techniques. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the diversity of this creative medium, as well as admire the craftsmanship and beauty of the works on display.
If you would like to meet Leslie and chat with her about her creative process, don’t miss the “Meet the Artist” sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 20th and 21st. Come and join us at the gallery if you are nearby.
