I’m thrilled to announce that after months of planing and preparation my first solo exhibition is now open to the public. This exhibition showcases my latest work, which reflects how I adapted to the challenges and changes in my life. This was a time of intense creativity and experimentation for me, and I hope you enjoy the results.
“Colour & Form textile art is a creative practice combining several different dyeing techniques and upcycled materials to make one-of-a-kind artworks. The fabrics are then cut, sewn, quilted or embroidered to create different shapes and patterns. The result is a stunning display of colour and form that celebrates nature’s beauty and sustainability value.“
The exhibition features over 60 works on display covering several textile techniques. Visitors will have the opportunity to learn about the diversity of this creative medium, as well as admire the craftsmanship and beauty of the works on display.
If you would like to meet Leslie and chat with her about her creative process, don’t miss the “Meet the Artist” sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 20th and 21st. Come and join us at the gallery if you are nearby.
A sneak peak at three of the works on display.
