First Exhibition of my Quilt Designs

What a busy week it’s been!

Last Friday and Saturday I had my first quilt exhibition hosted by Palm Beach Quilting in Carrum Downs, south-east of Melbourne. Thanks to Maureen for allowing me to move into her shop and display my quilts.

It was great to meet so many enthusiastic fellow quilters. I’m always inspired by their ideas and creative energy.

I came away from the exhibition full of visions of new patterns. There will certainly be more quilt designs out in the next few months.

With the space Maureen had I was able to display all of my current quilts. Here are a few photos of the display for your enjoyment.

It was fun but exhausting! Thanks too to my sister-in-law, Tricia, who stayed by my side and supported me during the entire time. We even managed to fit in a movie Friday night – for relaxation? We saw Argo – not exactly a relaxing movie… in fact, probably the most tension you can get outside a horror movie!

To finish off, a special thanks to all who attended my first exhibition,

Leslie..
